Zoetermeer, The Netherlands, June 2, 2010. White E5JE, M[Arnhem 3693373]. Adult Black-headed gull in full summer (alternate) plumage, being measured and ringed. See also this image of the same individual in full winter (basic) plumage and note the differences in leg and bill color.

Kokmeeuw (Chroicocephalus ridibundus), adult
Benthuizerplas, Zoetermeer, 2 juni 2010. Wit E5JE, M[Arnhem 3693373]. Adulte Kokmeeuw in volledig zomerkleed, gefotografeerd terwijl het gemeten en geringd wordt. Zie ook deze foto van dit individu in volledig winterkleed en vergelijk het verschil in de poot- en snavelkleur.

Common Gull - WHITE [EZ77] / black

Edit: confirmed as subspecies Larus canus heinei.

Russian Common gull (Larus canus heinei), adult
Zoetermeer, Noordhovenseplas, The Netherlands, January 8, 2010. W[EZ77] (Arnhem 3690757). Adult Common Gull in full winter (basic) plumage after being measured and ringed and identified as a Russian Common Gull. Note the fuller head and slightly heavier bill. The color of the grey mantle and wing feathers is also slightly darker, an aspect best viewed when compared next to a regular Common Gull. Russische Stormmeeuw (Larus canus heinei), adult
Noordhovenseplas, Zoetermeer, 8 januari 2010. W[EZ77] (Arnhem 3690757). Adulte Russische Stormmeeuw in volledig winterkleed. Op basis van gedane metingen is dit individu geidentificeerd als Russische Stormmeeuw. Karakteristieken zijn de hoekerige kop, iets bredere snavel en donkere mantel- en vleugelveren (dit is het best te zien door het direkt met een westerse Stormmeeuw te vergelijken). Mouette mélanocéphale baguée poussin en Hongrie;Rétszilas,Fejér le 31.05.2009.
J'avais déjà observé cet oiseau à Leulinghen-berne (Pas-de-Calais) dans un champ près des carrières de Marquise.
Elle avait été observé quelques heures auparavant sur la plage de Wissant (Pas-de-Calais) par un ami.
La voila maintenant à Le-Portel ce 06.01.2010.
15 photos prises et voila tous les oiseaux en fuite à cause d'une attaque d'un faucon pélerin au dessus de la mer.(tentative de capture d'une mouette)

Common Gull - WHITE, M[Gdansk FN 04302] / Blue, Red, Blue

Common gull (Larus canus), 15th calendar year
Warmond, Zwanengat, The Netherlands, Februari 21, 2009. White, M[Gdansk FN 04302]/Blue, Red, Blue. Adult Common Gull in full winter (basic) plumage. This bird was observed breeding in Poland in 1999 and 2000, but in 2006 it was observed breeding in Germany. Considering the high breeding site fidelity for Common Gulls, this is very unusual.

Stormmeeuw (Larus canus), 15de kalenderjaar
Zwanengat, Warmond, 21 februari 2009. Wit, M[Gdansk FN 04302]/Blaauw, Rood, Blaauw. Adulte Stormmeeuw in volledig winterkleed. Dit individu is in 1999 en 2000 broedend waargenomen in Polen, maar in 2006 in Duitsland. Gezien Stormmeeuwen erg plaatstrouw aan het broedgebied is dit gedrag erg ongebruikelijk te noemen.
