About this Weblog

The main target of this blog is to contribute the research to gullidentification and migrationpatterns. This by collecting photo's of colourringed gulls in different plumages and inform the ringers of new sightings and photo's. All the photo's of this blog are made by members of the Flickr-Photopool 'Colourringed Gulls'.

All the titles are the same, that's easy to read. For example: Lesser Black-Backed Gull - YELLOW [MWK.72] / black, stands for a yellow ring with a black code MWK.72

On the gullpages above or photolabels you will find an overview of all the sightings of colourringed gulls(this part is under construction). If a bird has been read / photographed more than ones in the last view years by CG-members, this blog will provide its overview. Much information of the colourringprojects is used from cr-birding.be .
